Rachel Tucker was possibly the best Elphaba I will ever see. Her emotion even filled the theatre. She was pitch perfect.
On this day I had a understudy Glinda, Carina Gillespie, who was also fantastic. As I saw an understudy the connection between Glinda and Elphaba was quite week. You didn’t quite feel like they loved each other on For Good. But it was still an okay performance.
I saw Oliver Saville as Fiyero. He seems as though he was made for this role. His voice is perfect. A very good Fiyero in my opinion.
Anita Dobson and Mark Curry were not as bad as I was expecting and the ensemble was great.Read more →

Amazing. The stage design and it's moving parts are mesmerising. The moving dragon, everything in The Emerald City, even the curtain is flashy and awesome. Being a long time theatre geek, seeing Defying Gravity live put me in literal tears of joy. The songs are so catchy and amazing showcases of the cast's impeccable vocals. Laura Pick was my Elphaba and was stunning to say the least. Her acting and singing choices deviated her from the other Elphabas in the best way possible. The show has an amazing way of intertwining the narrative of it and the Wizard Of Oz. Long story short, watch it.Read more →

One of the most spectacular productions in the West End. I’ve now seen this show 4 times over the last decade and it’s become one of my favourites. The first time I saw it with my friends who were part of my musical trio ‘Unmasked’ and the girls sang a couple of numbers from Wicked. I absolutely fell in love with this show and I have always enjoyed going to see it. Amazing performances over the years. This show continues to wow audiences and fans alike. I definitely recommend it. It’s a truly amazing show. It’s totally Wicked!.Read more →

This was my third time seeing Wicked in the west end. I thoroughly love this show. It’s one of those shows that you can see over and over and it will never seize to amaze you. The lighting, sound and tech is incredible and the cast is always professional and amazing! I have fallen in love with this show too many times and I’m definitely going to be planning another trip to see this again soon! If you love the Wizard of Oz you will fall in love with this musical just as much as the original movie! Such a good show!Read more →

I’ve always seen the advertisements every around London so earlier this year I decided to go and see it with my mum, it was the best thing I’ve ever seen and gave me goosebumps on defying gravity, and they wicked crew timed everything so well because defying gravity is basically the song where elephaba shows everyone she’s stronger than she seems and after the song act 1 finishes so then act 2 is the part where they try to get rid of her. It was brilliant definitely worth going and I would love to see it againRead more →

We managed to get tickets about 10 minutes before the show started and didn’t know what to expect but new the show was popular. I was personally really let down! From the story to the characters and it fell flat and empty to me. I was surprised at the amount of adults at the show as I found it to be very childish and overdone. I do however enjoy the songs and the costumes this show offered but unlike my friends who see this show all the time it wasn’t for me.Read more →

I have seen wicked twice now. Once last year and once this year. Different cast when I saw it, and I was extremely impressed with the show both times that I have seen it. From the set to the music to the cast, it was all phenomenal. The second time I went, I managed to get second row seats for £25. What an experience it was to watch it from seats so close to the stage. I would highly recommend this show and would happily watch it again!Read more →

What a show this is! I’d waited years to see Wicked and what a magical production it is. Amy Webb as Elphaba was sensational. I sat in Dress circle L4 and would say it was a little far from the stage to see everything clearly, but still an impressive view and you don’t miss much! I’ll definitely be seeing this again in a stall seat but it is truly wonderful 💕Read more →

Absolutely WICKED!!! Went with mammar, gramps, mum and Archie. Never heard gramps laugh so much especially when they said dodo instead of toto. The musical is so good and set and costumes are beautiful. And the voices are just wow. Send shivers down spine they are that incredible. My first show I saw with gramps and the last time I saw him. RIP gramps ****Read more →

Always a spectacle to enjoy, the music and visuals are gorgeous! I wish all characters were slightly more ‘Americanised’ and bubbly (Glinda especially) as to allow for more comedic effect and to be more engaging. The Britishness of the show now annoyingly makes jokes ‘not land’ and can be a bit annoying. Regardless Wicked is one of my favourite shows.Read more →

This was one of the first musicals I saw (after being hooked on theatre due to Hamilton) and I couldn’t be happier; it’s a stunning show! A little tip if you haven’t been before: sit a few rows back because there are a few elements in the show that are high up. I sat on the last row of the first block of Stalls. Perfect view from there!Read more →
