Meet the people who brought the students of Rydell High School and their teachers to life in the London production that played at the Dominion Theatre, and Bromley’s Churchill Theatre and toured other UK and Ireland venues.
Danny Zuko
Our leading man, Danny Zuko, was played by Marley Fenton. Marley joined the Grease The Musical cast shortly after graduating from ArtsEd. Before taking on the heartthrob, he was the understudy for the Tin Man in The Wizard of Oz at the London Palladium. He’s since appeared in Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends and will appear in the upcoming Wicked movie.
Sandy Dumbrowski
The good girl turned flirt, Sandy D, was played by Hope Dawe. It was her professional debut after graduating from Mountview with a BA in Performance.
Betty Rizzo
The original bad girl with a heart of gold. Rizzo was played by Rebecca Stenhouse. Her previous credits include appearances in Flashdance (Selladoor), Legally Blonde (UK Tour), Peter Pan (UK Productions**, and
Rock of Ages (NCL).
Kenicke
Danny’s righthand man, Kenicke, was played by George Michaelides. Before joining the Grease The Musical cast, George starred in Newsies at the Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre. He’s also performed in Big Night of Musicals, This Morning, the Olivier Awards, West End Live, and The Royal Variety Performance.
Frenchy
The studiously challenged sweetie, Frenchy, was played by Alicia Belgarde. She made her West End debut when she joined the Grease The Musical cast during its Dominion Theatre run. Like George, she has performed in Big Night of Musicals, This Morning, the Olivier Awards, and West End Live**. She’s also appeared in the pantomime Mother Goose at the Cambridge Arts Theatre.
Doody
Kieran Lynch played Doody. The Laine Theatre Arts graduate previously appeared in To Gillie, with Love (Gillian Lynne Theatre), Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (Palace Theatre, Kilmarnock), and Bring It On (Kings Theatre).
Roger
Lewis Day played the role of Roger. Lewis is a graduate of the Guildford School of Acting and has appeared in regional productions. He also played Benjamin in the workshop for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
Sonny
Sario Solomon brought Sonny to life. Sario joined the Grease The Musical cast after appearing in Pacific Overtures (Menier Chocolate Factory), Friendsical (UK Tour), The Band (West End, UK and Germany Tours), and Oliver! (Theatre Royal Drury Lane).
Jan
Playing a member of the Pink Ladies is Emerald B as Jan. Emerald B trained at ZooNation Youth Company, The BRIT School and Urdang Academy. Her other appearances include Breakin’ Convention, National Lottery New Year's Eve Bash, and The Jonathan Ross Show.

Other Grease The Musical cast members include India Chadwick as Marty, Jayd’n Tyrone as Eugene, Phoebe Roberts as Patty Simcox, Dominique Planter as Miss Lynch, Joe Gash as Vince Fontaine and Teen Angel, Deena Kapadia as Cha Cha, and Adam Davidson as Johnny Casino.
The Ensemble and Swing include Sergi Ibanez, Ben Middleton, Imogen Malone, Zera Aitken, Carly Miles (also the resident choreographer), Lauren Hampton, Thomas Inge, and Dylan Gordon-Jones.
